Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay has expressed deep appreciation for her former label boss Bullet, crediting him for standing by her during the early stages of her career.

Speaking in an interview with Kafui Dey, Wendy Shay highlighted Bullet’s unique ability to recognize potential and remain supportive, even when others doubted her.

“I am always grateful to Bullet for always being that person who understood everybody’s journey; he never made me feel less of myself. He always saw the bigger picture, always saw who I was even though people called him and told him he should forget me,” she said.

According to the singer, several industry players reportedly advised Bullet to distance himself from her during challenging periods. However, she noted that he remained steadfast in his belief in her talent and potential.

Wendy Shay emphasized that Bullet’s decision to focus on purpose rather than external pressure played a significant role in shaping her career and helping her grow as an artist.

Her comments have reignited conversations about the importance of mentorship and loyalty within the music industry, with many fans praising Bullet for his role in nurturing talent.

Wendy Shay’s remarks underscore the impact of having a strong support system in a competitive industry, where belief and guidance can make a critical difference in an artist’s journey.
