Speaking on Atinka FM, Osofo Kyiri Abosom expressed strong support for a proposed constitutional reform that would permit President John Mahama to run for a third term.
He stated that he would be “very happy” to see Mahama continue, adding that he prays the president will have the strength to lead Ghana for an extended period because of the development he believes Mahama is bringing.
According to him, Mahama’s leadership style has been impressive, and the progress he is currently making is good for the country.
He even revealed that if Mahama is allowed to continue his work, he would pause his GUM party activities during elections and fully join the NDC.
Kyiri Abosom also disclosed that he was once a dedicated NPP member who supported President Kufuor and campaigned for Nana Addo but decided to switch after becoming disappointed with the NPP government’s performance.
