Police reject GH¢200,000 bribe after seizing suspected fake US dollars in Odumase Krobo

The Ghana Police Service at Odumase Krobo has rejected a GH¢200,000 bribe from three suspects after discovering 105 bundles of suspected counterfeit US dollar notes concealed in a metal trunk at Odumase Laasi.

According to the police, one of the suspects allegedly attempted to bribe the officers with GH¢200,000 in a bid to evade arrest.

The suspects are currently in Odumase Krobo police custody, assisting with investigations as the police work to determine the source and intended circulation of the suspected fake currency.
