    Kwesi Ahwoi, Kojo Choi, nine others sworn in as Ambassadors and High Commissioners

    President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, commissioned the second batch of Ghanaian Ambassadors and High Commissioners at the Jubilee House.

    The newly sworn-in envoys, all non-career diplomats, will represent Ghana in key countries across Africa, North America, Europe, and Asia.

    In his address, President Mahama urged the diplomats to project Ghana’s image positively abroad, deepen bilateral relations, and work to attract investment into the country.

    Their appointments, approved between September 10 and September 29, 2025, took effect with the official commissioning ceremony.

    The envoys include:

    1. H.E. Benjamin Anani Quashie – High Commissioner to Pretoria, Republic of South Africa
    2. H.E. Captain (Rtd.) George Kofi Nfojoh – High Commissioner to Lomé, Togo
    3. H.E. Prof. Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh – High Commissioner to Ottawa, Canada
    4. H.E. Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Harruna Attah – High Commissioner to Windhoek, Republic of Namibia
    5. H.E. Kojo Choi – Ambassador to Seoul, Republic of South Korea
    6. H.E. Kwesi Ahwoi – Ambassador to Serbia
    7. H.E. Magnus Kofi Amoatey – Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo
    8. H.E. Benedict Batebe Assorow – Ambassador to Vatican City
    9. H.E. Prof. Esi Awuah – Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation
    10. H.E. Mohammed Abubakar Manaf – Ambassador to Benin
    11. H.E. Dr. Kwame Ampofo – Ambassador to Hungary

    President Mahama reiterated his confidence in the envoys, describing them as key actors in advancing Ghana’s foreign policy objectives and strengthening the country’s global presence.
