A suspect who thought he had pulled off a clever escape got a rude shock recently after blowing powdered pepper into the eyes of the police officer escorting him to court, only to be rearrested right there on the spot.
According to reports, the unidentified suspect was being taken to court when he suddenly managed to reach for some raw pepper and threw it directly into the escorting CID officer’s eyes.
The officer was temporarily blinded and disoriented, giving the suspect a brief window to try and flee.
But his freedom was short-lived.
Bystanders and other security personnel at the scene quickly stepped in, and the suspect was grabbed again within moments.
