A staunch New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporter and social media commentator, Haruna Maaiga, has taken a swipe at Sharaf Mahama, son of President John Dramani Mahama, following his recent boxing event.
In a strongly worded post online, Maaiga claimed that Sharaf Mahama would be invited by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to answer questions when the NPP returns to power in January 2029.
According to him, “When NPP returns to power in January 2029, we shall surely invite Sharaf Mahama to EOCO to explain a few things.”
He added sarcastically that Sharaf’s bail conditions would include documents covering major national assets such as the Tema Harbour and the Akosombo Dam.
Ending his post on a defiant note, Maaiga said, “They should wait and see,” accompanied by laughing emojis, a comment that has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.
