Felicia, sister of ex-Ghanaian footballer Edwin Gyimah, has pleaded with the public to convince her brother to rent a place for her and her husband as they are struggling with shelter.

In a previous interview, Gyimah revealed that he had been living under difficult conditions in Ghana with his wife and children and, shockingly, had no place to call home after his sisters allegedly took over the eight-bedroom house he built.

When the issue became public, Felicia insisted that the family had the right to take over the house and criticised those who condemned her actions.

Following these claims, an Oyerepa FM crew led by Auntie Naa, together with police officers, visited the house to assess the situation. During the visit, Gyimah’s relatives, including his mother, sister, and others who had taken over the property, were seen kneeling and begging him to let the matter go, after which he eventually received the keys.

After being forced to leave the house, Felicia apologised for her actions and asked Ghanaians to forgive her, admitting she was caught up in the moment.

She explained that she now lives in a place rented by her brother with her mother, while her husband stays elsewhere. She appealed to the general public to plead with Gyimah on her behalf to secure a place for her and her husband.

“This is a plea. I want Ghanajans to forgive my utterances when the issue came up. I am pleading with everyone to make my brother aware that right now I need help. My husband currently stays with his friend because he cannot join me and my mother where we live. So I want Ghanaians to tell my brother to rent a place for me and my husband

“He has rented a place for my mother, and I am with her now, so my husband can’t join us. He should get us a place. I am very serious about this issue. Make it public for Ghanaians to plead on my behalf,” Felicia said in Twi in a viral video.
