It was widely reported that the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola recently married

At the wedding, Mr. Otedola is said to have stated that the husband is the head of the wife and is the one in charge of the marriage. That he is the boss.

This is, in my view, a fundamental lesson in relationships.

In any successful romantic relationship, the man is the leader and the head of the household. Anyone who refuses to acknowledge this basic dynamic is, frankly, a fool and not worth one’s time.

His daughter has even adopted her husband’s surname—a notable act, given that her billionaire father’s name is globally recognised and could open countless doors for her. This traditional step confirms the husband’s position as the leader and the head of the family.

Throughout my life, I have never countenanced a relationship with a woman who views it as a form of partnership. It is not, and the very notion of partnership is one I find deeply irritating. Why would I need a partner when the evidence clearly shows I am more than capable on my own?

If modern women cannot understand their role and accept the man’s natural position as the head of the relationship, then the solution is simple: do not date them. Leave them to their own devices.

And indeed, this is already happening. A growing number of men are simply opting out, leaving a chorus of women on social media lamenting their solitude. The consequences of rejecting these timeless principles are becoming increasingly clear.

The man is the boss in a relationship. If you don’t like it, go and date another woman.
