The Founder and Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has expressed concerns over the dwindling energy of the National Democratic Congress in the spiritual realm.
He says if care is not taken, the party may relinquish power after John Dramani Mahama’s exit from office in the 2028 elections.
Addressing his congregation, Rev Owusu Bempah indicated that the party must act or lose power after four years.
“I have seen in the spiritual realm that the NDC’s power has dropped. The spirit backing the NDC has declined, the force and power behind the party has diminished, and it is sinking,” Rev Owusu-Bempah said.
He used the opportunity to caution the political party against the optimism that Ghanaians will keep them in power for another term.
“They think that any political party that comes to power must enjoy two consecutive terms. But if the NDC follows this pattern, they will be disappointed because I have seen that the power that brought them to power has dropped,” he said.
