Shatta Wale’s Public Relations Officer, Sammy Flex, has revealed why many top Ghanaian artistes are turning down media interviews.
Speaking on 3Music TV’s The Big Conversation, he said most artistes feel interviews aren’t worth their time or money since the media often focuses on sensational clips instead of meaningful discussions.
“Sometimes they spend so much, only for people to make fun of them online,” he said, adding that preparing Shatta Wale for an interview can cost over GH¢50,000 in logistics and security.
Sammy Flex explained that because of this, artistes now choose interviews carefully — usually only when promoting new projects or personal initiatives.
