For initiating the rehabilitation and installation of modern street lighting systems within our Regional Capital.
This project, which will be officially handed over to the contractor tomorrow, aligns perfectly with government’s broader vision to promote sustainable energy use, enhance public safety and advance the national green transition agenda. The deployment of energy-efficient LED and smart lighting technologies will not only improve visibility and security in our urban areas but also reduce energy costs and support environmental sustainability.
As a key stakeholder in this initiative, I reaffirm the commitment of the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council to collaborate fully with the Ministry, the contractor and all relevant partners to ensure the project’s successful and timely completion. This intervention will significantly enhance the safety, beauty and efficiency of our streets and public spaces.
