Funeral Arrangements Announced for H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings

The family of the late Former First Lady, H.E. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, together with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Aboatia Abusua of Mpobi, has released official details for her final funeral rites.
According to Oheneba Akwasi Abayie, Otumfuo Akomforehene, the funeral will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Independence Square in Accra.
Key Details:
6:00am – Arrival of the cortege at Independence Square
Attire: Black (No official funeral cloth)
Open to the public – Security and protocol officers will guide all mourners
Final rites: The family emphasizes that this will be the only funeral ceremony, with no subsequent events elsewhere once the burial service concludes.
The family expressed deep appreciation for the overwhelming sympathy shown since her passing and is urging mourners to arrive early and comply with all security and protocol directives to ensure a smooth and dignified ceremony.
