Over Appointments of Men Accused of Sexual Misconduct, following the BBC’s revelation of Professor Gyampo’s inappropriate behavior with a student.
Actress and activist Ama K. Abebrese has raised strong concerns on social media about Ghana appointing men with documented histories or allegations of sexual harassment into high-ranking government positions.
According to her, no serious country should elevate individuals accused of abusing women, as it sends a dangerous message that such behavior is tolerated, or even rewarded. She urged Ghana to “do better.”
Her comments come in the wake of the BBC Africa Eye “Sex for Grades” documentary, where Professor Ransford Gyampo was captured making inappropriate advances toward a student, reigniting public debate on accountability and leadership integrity.
According to Ama, Ghana should improve its performance.

Heaven and Hell are not real; they are scams. — According to Osofo Kyiri Abosom.
