Ghanaian rapper D Cryme has revealed that during the period when he wasn’t consistently dropping new music, he was deeply involved in the transport business.
Speaking on MX24, he explained that many artistes are wrongly seen as inactive simply because they’re not constantly on TV or radio — even though they may be building other important ventures.
According to him, the public often equates visibility with productivity, a misconception that affects many creatives.
“Whatever you find yourself doing, if you want to see proper accomplishment, you need to devote time.
Unfortunately for artistes, when people stop seeing you on TV or hearing you on radio, they think you’ve stopped music. That’s our curse,” he said.
