MOG BEATZ ACCUSES SHATTA WALE OF ‘SELLING’ HIS BEATS WITHOUT GIVING HIM CREDIT

Music producer MOG Beatz has reignited his long-standing feud with Dancehall star Shatta Wale, accusing the musician of selling a catalogue of songs including several produced by him, without credit or consent.

In a series of fiery posts on X on August 19, 2025, MOG alleged that Shatta Wale struck a multi-million-dollar deal with an international company, but deliberately erased his (MOG’s) production credits and replaced them with his own.

According to MOG, this fraudulent act funded Shatta Wale’s sudden display of luxury, including a Rolls-Royce and other high-end cars. He argued that such purchases would have been “impossible on a normal day” without exploiting producers.

The beatmaker also reminded fans of their unresolved 2021 dispute, where he accused Shatta Wale of failing to pay for 10 beats he produced on the Reign album. That clash sparked weeks of online arguments but ended without settlement.

“This is not just about money; it’s about integrity,” MOG said in a video. “In 2021, you didn’t pay me. Now in 2025, you’ve carried these same songs, put your name under them, and sold them. You scammed the company and involved me in it. I won’t sit and watch you erase my work.”

MOG challenged Shatta Wale to provide evidence if he believes the accusations are defamatory, insisting he is ready with proof.

Shatta Wale is yet to respond publicly to the fresh claims
