The government established the task force to examine the viability, organisational structure, and financing options for the new airline, as well as potential partnerships and regulatory requirements within the global aviation industry.
The submission of the report to the President is anticipated to inform the next stage of decision- making, including possible policy approvals and implementation timelines.
The task force is chaired by Charles Asare, former Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, and brings together experts with experience in aviation, finance, and infrastructure development.
