The Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regional Manager of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA), Dr Williams Ohene-Adjei, has stated that churches must take proactive role in securing the financial future of their members by adopting the Tier Three Pension Scheme

He said this during a joint camp meeting in Sunyani on 10 August 2025.

The NPRA official praised the government’s introduction of the Cocoa Farmers Pension Scheme and urged churches to take a similar approach by creating sustainable pension options for their members.

The SDA conference, held under the theme “Called to be Faithful: Commandment of God and Faith of Jesus,” brought together congregants from the Sunyani East, Wamanafo, and Amasu districts.

Also speaking at the event, Pastor Thomas Akosah Agyapong, Director of Stewardship and Strategic Planning for the Mid-West Ghana Conference, applauded the NPRA’s education efforts and encouraged church members to take advantage of the Tier Three sch
