Drake turned his hometown of Toronto into the center of a real-life treasure hunt to build hype for his upcoming album ICEMAN.
He installed a massive ice block structure downtown, hiding the release date inside. Fans showed up with sledgehammers, blowtorches, and other tools, chipping away at the frozen blocks in hopes of finding the secret.
Toronto-based Twitch streamer Kishka (AlmightyKishka) went live on his stream, climbed the icy setup, and pulled out a blue waterproof bag stamped with “Freeze the world.” Inside was a booklet confirming that Drake’s new album ICEMAN will drop on May 15, 2026.
After the discovery, Kishka received an invite to bring the bag directly to Drake’s mansion, known as The Embassy. He opened it right in the driveway on stream, revealing the date while surrounded by luxury cars.
As a thank-you for the effort and for delivering it in person, Drake’s team gifted Kishka stacks of cash — reportedly thousands of dollars, with some accounts mentioning a significant amount that left the streamer visibly excited as he flashed the bundles outside the property.
The fun, interactive stunt quickly went viral, turning the album announcement into a city-wide event that got everyone talking. No full tracklist or other details have dropped yet, but the excitement for ICEMAN is already building fast.
