Blames “Corrupt System” for El-Wak Recruitment Tragedy
Outspoken politician Kennedy Agyapong has criticized Ghana’s military recruitment process following the El-Wak Stadium tragedy that claimed several lives.
According to him, the recruitment exercise is a “complete sham,” claiming that those chosen had already been selected through favoritism and political ties.
“The young men who died lost their lives for nothing,” he said, adding that authorities only open applications to deceive jobless youth into thinking the process is fair.
