Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, has expressed disappointment over the behavior of some applicants following the tragic stampede at El-Wak Stadium, which claimed six lives.
According to her, organizers had clearly instructed certain groups not to report that day, yet many ignored the directive and showed up, causing chaos.
“They showed a bad attitude. They were told not to come today, but they came.
The screening was in groups, and they were supposed to come on Saturday. I don’t know why they couldn’t just follow the rules,” she said.
Hon. Ocloo described the situation as avoidable, stressing that discipline and obedience could have prevented the tragedy.
