Singer Wendy Shay has officially lodged a complaint with the Ghana Police Service after a viral video falsely accused her of engaging in lesbian acts with a young girl under her care.
In the video, a young man alleged that Wendy Shay was in a sexual relationship with Tracy Shay — the teenager she informally “adopted” after the girl went viral for dancing to her song. He went further with insulting and baseless claims, even suggesting that a spiritualist instructed the singer to perform sexual acts on the minor.
After the video gained attention, Wendy Shay called on the public to help identify the man behind the accusations and offered a GH₵5,000 reward for credible leads.
