The National Service Authority (NSA) has cancelled all June 2025 registrations for the 2025/2026 service year, declaring them null and void over data integrity concerns.

In a statement, the Authority said a new online registration exercise will open from Wednesday, October 8 to Wednesday, October 15, 2025, following a directive from President John Dramani Mahama. The directive came after a Technical and Forensic Audit found the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP) unsatisfactory.

The NSA said the new digital platform will ensure transparency, security, and real-time verification, adding that all prospective service personnel must re-register.

“All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service personnel must re-register on the new platform,” the statement noted.

It explained that the decision followed discrepancies in the earlier registration process, including age-related irregularities, and assured that all legitimate registrants from the June exercise would receive refunds of their service fees.

The Authority said detailed registration guidelines will be available on its new website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, starting Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

The NSA also announced new IT reforms and internal controls to tackle payroll fraud and improve the timely payment of allowances. It is collaborating with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department to strengthen financial oversight and will conduct periodic efficiency audits.

According to the statement, all national service personnel are expected to report to their assigned service stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the service year officially starting on Monday, November 3, 2025.
