Hon. Effah Patrick, District Chief Executive of Nkoranza North, together with the Member of Parliament (MP), Joseph Kwasi Mensah, in collaboration with the director of education and Chiefs of Bono Manso in the Nkoranza North of the Bono East Region, says early childhood education and care are crucial and important in the development of human resources.

Hon. Effah Patrick, in an exclusive interview on Fabea FM with Apiah-Kubi, emphasized the need for the construction of a Kindergarten (KG) block at Bono Manso in the Nkoranza North district.

He stressed that the sod-cutting ceremony, held on Tuesday 7th October, 2025, would commence the construction of the KG classroom block for the Bono Manso community.

The project, which is expected to be completed within eight months, is being funded by the District Assembly’s common fund, as directed by the President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.

The contract has been awarded to RAk Global Limited, and it is expected to be completed within eight months.

The kindergarten block, according to Hon. Effah Patrick, when completed, would have a sleeping room for the children, washrooms with water closets, and changing rooms.

According to Hon. Effah Patrick, President Mahama’s reset agenda for Ghana will be impactful when orders are complied with.

He said building a strong educational foundation at the kindergarten level prepares children adequately for higher levels of education, hence the need to pay particular attention to this.

Hon. Effah Patrick highlighted the importance of education, saying the government is doing everything possible to ensure all children of school-going age in the country access quality education.

He, therefore, advised citizens in Nkoranza North to keep a firm eye on the government and the assembly, rallying behind them for more development and progress.

He appealed to the people of Bono Manso and Nkoranza North communities to rally behind him and the government to bring needed development to the area.

He called on the contractor working on the project to do a good job to ensure durability.

Hon. Effah Patrick commended the government for its continuous assistance towards improving education in the area, saying, “President Mahama is doing extremely well to enhance effective governance, particularly in schools in deprived communities.”

“We’ll work according to plans to advance developmental projects and leave behind legacy projects,” he assured.

In conclusion, Hon. Effah Patrick outlined projects yet to be commissioned, including the Tom CHIPS compound.
