President Mahama arrives in China
The President, John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Beijing, China to participate in the Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women scheduled to be held from 13th to 14th October, 2025.
The President is attending the meeting also in his capacity as African Union Champion for Gender and Development Issues.
The meeting, which is being co-hosted by China and UN Women, is expected to reaffirm the commitments made during the Fourth World Conference on Women, 30years ago aimed at promoting women empowerment.
The President is accompanied by the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) and other senior government officials.
