Kwaku Sintim Misa has weighed in on the escalating tension between the Attorney General, Godfred Dame, and the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, over the stalled extradition process involving former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
The veteran talk show host described the standoff as a “national embarrassment,” saying it exposes a lack of coordination within Ghana’s justice system.
“Instead of fighting corruption, our institutions are fighting each other,” KSM on the KSM show monitored by Lovinghananews.com.
“The OSP says it declared Ken Ofori-Atta a fugitive and requested extradition. The AG says no docket was received. Who’s telling the truth?”
KSM emphasised that such disunity between two powerful legal offices only weakens public confidence and delays justice.
“While they play blame games, billions of Ghanaian cedis remain unaccounted for. It’s childish and unprofessional,” he added.
He urged both offices to prioritise collaboration, noting that the public deserves clarity and action rather than conflicting statements.
“Ghana’s anti-corruption machinery cannot function like a soap opera,” KSM warned. “The AG and OSP must remember they serve the same people, not themselves.”
