   His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie

The Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, has extended a formal message of condolence to the family of the late former First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

The message, issued on behalf of the entire Judiciary and the Judicial Service, paid glowing tribute to the former First Lady, describing her as a woman of “remarkable vision, courage, and conviction.”

The Acting Chief Justice noted that throughout her extensive public life, Mrs. Agyeman-Rawlings tirelessly championed the causes of women and children.

“Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings was a woman of remarkable vision, courage, and conviction,” the statement read. “Throughout her public life, she championed the causes of women and children, tirelessly advocating for gender equality and social justice.”

Justice Baffoe-Bonnie highlighted her lasting impact through the 31st December Women’s Movement (31st DWM), recognizing the organization’s work as a testament to her “enduring commitment to women and children’s empowerment, as well as national development.”

The statement acknowledged that while her passing marks the end of an era, “her influence will continue to resonate in the hearts of countless Ghanaians whose lives she touched through her service, compassion, and leadership.”
