Management of the National Service Authority has announced the release of the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 service
year.

This is contained in a press release dated October 28.

“As of today, Tuesday, 28th October 2025, a total of Eighty-Five Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty-Nine (85,159) personnel drawn from all accredited tertiary institutions have been deployed to both private and public user agencies to undertake their one-year mandatory service towards national development,” the press release signed by the Director-General, Dr Ruth Sedoh indicated.

It said, “This figure excludes personnel who had issues with data mis-match and have either had it resolved or pending review, teachers, nurses, midwives and other equally vital categories. All personnel under the data mis-match category are to note that their placement forms part of the yet-to-be-released batch. As such, the total number of postings is expected to rise in due course.

The Authority therefore requests the public to appreciate the technicalities and procedural steps underpinning the National Service posting arrangements.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the Authority wishes to provide by way of clarity, details of the deployment figures:
I. Total Students Uploaded – 150,937
II. Total Paid Pin code – 91,339
III. Total Verified (with Ghana card only) – 85,459
IV. Total Number of Personnel Completed Registration – 85,159,”it explained.

For ease of registration, all prospective personnel are required to strictly follow the laid down registration and validation procedure set out below:
i. Check placement: Log onto the official website of the Authority via gnsa.gov.gh
ii. Print Appointment Letter: Kindly print the appointment letter and proceed to the place of posting for endorsement (from your Line Manager or designated official)
iii. Book appointment for Online Registration: Proceed to book an appointment indicating your preferred date and time (at your earliest convenience on or before the stipulated deadline) for purposes of registration.
iv. Complete Registration Exercise: After successfully completing (3)(iii), personnel are to visit designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres with their endorsed appointment letter(s) and their Ghana Card to complete the process.

The NSA said, “Regional Validation and Registration will start on Wednesday, 29th October 2025 and end on Friday, 21st November 2025.”

Management reminded “all personnel to refrain from engaging the services of scam syndicates for changes in postings and other related issues.
The Authority does not engage the services of these so-called ‘middlemen’ in its deployment exercise. Given the above, personnel are highly entreated to accept their postings.”

It stated that, “The 2025/26 national service officially begins on Monday, 3rd November 2025.”
