Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has claimed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is secretly supporting some of his rivals in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer race because they fear his eventual success.
According to him, the NDC is aware that if he emerges as the NPP’s flagbearer, his chances of winning the 2028 presidential elections are very high.
“The NDC doesn’t want me to win the NPP flagbearership; that’s why they’re campaigning for some of my opponents.
They know that if I win, I’ll win the 2028 elections,” Dr. Bawumia stated.
