Since last year alone, they have wasted nearly eight FIFA women’s international breaks without organizing a single meaningful preparatory game, but the funds keep disappearing as usual.
At this point, it’s painfully clear that many of the people running the federation are simply political appointees with no real understanding of how a football federation should function, nor any genuine passion for developing the women’s game.
If not for the sheer talent, determination, and individual brilliance within the Super Falcons squad, we wouldn’t have won the WAFCON.
That triumph came with almost zero preparation, no tactical build-up, and no proper friendly matches to sharpen the team.
It was the players who carried the nation on their shoulders not the NFF, not the NSC.
It is a national embarrassment that the most successful women’s national team in Africa continues to suffer from this level of negligence.
The girls deserve better, Nigeria deserves better, and the world can see exactly where the problem lies.
