NIGERIA – A young woman has been arrested after allegedly attempting to unalive a man identified as Jeff.
According to the police, the suspect who’s a hookup lady was contracted by a man named Victor to carry out the attack.
Victor who is a friend of Jeff promised her a payment of 2 million Naira upon completion of the crime.
In her confession, the young woman told investigators that she agreed to the plot due to severe financial hardship.
She explained that her younger sister is critically ill and in need of urgent medical care, but she lacked the funds to take her to the hospital.
As orphans with no immediate support system, she said she felt compelled to accept the offer in a desperate attempt to save her sister’s life.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred after she met with Jeff and waited until he had fallen asleep.
She then stabbed him multiple times but Jeff survived the ordeal and managed to seek help.
The lady has since been arrested and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Victor, the man alleged to have masterminded the plot, is currently on the run.
