You even have Jamie Carragher speaking negatively about Salah. If fans want to criticize Salah, that’s their opinion—but Carragher shouldn’t be the one doing that, because during his time at Liverpool he didn’t achieve anything extraordinary.”
Aboutrika added that now that Liverpool are struggling, all the pressure is suddenly being placed on Salah, while other players are escaping responsibility. He questioned why the blame is not shared across the squad.
According to him, it often feels like Europeans support African players only when they are performing at their peak, but when the form drops even slightly, they quickly turn their backs.
