The Commercial Drivers’ Wives Association of Ghana says improved economic conditions have brought renewed happiness into their homes.
According to their chairperson, Gifty Ayanrinka, reduced financial stress has helped drivers become more relaxed, improving intimacy and family life.
Speaking on Rainbow Radio, she explained that hardships under the previous administration left many drivers exhausted and frustrated, affecting their marriages.
With fuel prices stabilizing and the cedi strengthening, she says things have changed for the better.
Meanwhile, the Concerned Drivers Association also praised the government for easing operational pressures but appealed for further support, including the provision of modern vehicles to improve public transport.
