Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has strongly endorsed former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the most suitable candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2028 general elections.

The Member of Parliament for Ofoase/Ayirebi highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional preparation, nationwide popularity, and proven track record, positioning him as the party’s best chance at securing victory.

“The whole essence of a political party is to mobilise numbers to win power so that you can inculcate your ideas into government. Today, there is one person who has come so clean,” he stated to Citi News.

Describing Dr. Bawumia as “the most prepared candidate”, the Ofoase/Ayirebi MP praised his leadership qualities and strong reputation across the country.

“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the most prepared candidate, most marketed across the country and most prepared in terms of his track record and pedigree to ensure that we can win 2028 and govern in 2029,” Mr. Oppong Nkrumah stressed.

He further commended Dr. Bawumia’s personality and ability to unite people within the party and beyond.

“He also embodies the character values that this conservative party looks out for — his humility, emotional intelligence and ability to bring people together,” he added.
