The elder sister of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba has told a Kumasi High Court that although her late brother had six children with Priscilla Ofori, popularly known as Odo Broni, the two were never married.
Testifying in a case challenging the legitimacy of an alleged marriage, Ernestina Fosuh said Daddy Lumba was legally married only to Akosua Serwaa Fosuh through customary and civil ceremonies.
She added that while Odo Broni cared for the musician during his illness, she was never recognized as his wife.
The court also admitted audio and video clips suggesting Ernestina once referred to Odo Broni as a sister-in-law, though she maintained she was simply repeating what her brother told her.
The case continues on Wednesday as Ernestina returns to the witness box.
