Award-winning dancehall star Shatta Wale has firmly denied claims linking him to fraudulent activities, describing the allegations as false and baseless.
The musician addressed the issue during his performance at the BYK Concert at the Accra Sports
Stadium on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Pausing mid-performance while delivering his hit song “Prove You Wrong,” Shatta Wale used the moment to respond directly to his critics.
According to him, his success has come solely from hard work, consistency, and dedication to music—not illegal dealings.
“Me, Shatta Wale, I don’t do fraud. I don’t do anything illegal. I stand before God and curse anyone spreading such lies,” he declared to the cheering crowd.
He explained that the message behind “Prove You Wrong” reflects his long-standing resolve to rise above criticism and silence doubters through success.
Shatta Wale’s response follows heightened social media speculation linking some celebrities to recent fraud-related arrests involving the FBI and Ghana’s Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
The artist, however, made it clear that he wants no association with such activities and remains focused on his music and career.
