Ayisha Modi made the remarks during a TikTok Live session that lasted over two hours, where she expressed strong displeasure at Empress Gifty, the host of United Showbiz. According to her, the late-night entertainment show has repeatedly revisited sensitive family matters involving Daddy Lumba, which she believes should be left alone.
Ayisha Modi, who openly identifies as a supporter of Akosua Serwaa, reported to be Daddy Lumba’s first wife, questioned why Fada Dickson, the Managing Director of Despite Media, would allow such discussions to continue on his platform.
During the live session, Ayisha Modi made several personal allegations against Empress Gifty. She asked, “Why won’t you talk about the affair you allegedly had with A-Plus, knowing very well that you are married?” She further questioned why the host would not address claims about her husband, stating, “Why don’t you talk about your husband, Hopeson Adorye, several children with several women, including young girls?”
Ayisha Modi also issued a warning regarding potential legal action, saying, “I have a lot of evidence, and I have the money to fight Empress Gifty in court if she dares me. I am not like Agradaa that you can walk over.”
Her accusations did not end there. During the same TikTok Live, Ayisha Modi went on to make additional allegations involving business mogul Dr. Kwame Despite and media personality MC Yaa Yeboah. These claims, however, remain unverified.
As of the time of this report, Empress Gifty, UTV, Despite Media, Dr. Kwame Despite, and MC Yaa Yeboah have not responded publicly to the allegations.
