Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh has shared a deeply personal testimony about her past struggles before giving her life to God. In a video posted on X on December 15, 2025, the actress revealed that she started smoking at just 13 years old, a habit she said she picked up from her father, and later struggled with alcoholism for over two decades.
Tonto also spoke about living with what she described as a “demonic anger” that almost destroyed her life, explaining that rage often consumed her to the point where everyone around her felt its impact. According to her, she never truly experienced peace until recently, after committing herself fully to God through prayer.
“I’m 40 years old, and I can tell you I have never known peace until now,” she said, adding that the calm and confidence she now feels is real and permanent.
