Asake recently paid a visit to President Mahama, where the President discovered the artiste had been linked to a viral incident in Accra New Town.
During Asake’s tour of the area, Abubakari Sadick, popularly known as Cyborg, fired several celebratory gunshots into the air as a show of honor and welcome, an act that later led to Cyborg’s arrest by the Ghana Police Service.
Asake tried to plead for leniency on behalf of Cyborg, but President Mahama stood his ground, insisting that “the law is the law” and the case must follow due legal process.
