However, this feature will reportedly have limited compatibility and will not be available on all iPhones that can run iOS 18.

    Key Points:

    · The Feature: A new “Battery Life” mode, which appears to be different from the current Low Power Mode, focused on long-term health.
    · The Limitation: The feature will be exclusive to iPhone models equipped with the A17 Pro chip or newer.
    · Eligible iPhones: This means only the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and any future models released after them (like the iPhone 16 series) will support this new mode.
    · Reason: The feature likely relies on specific hardware capabilities present only in the latest A17 Pro and future chips. Older iPhones, even powerful ones like the iPhone 14 Pro (with an A16 chip), will not have access to it.

In short, the new Battery Life mode in iOS 18 is a next-generation feature designed specifically for the newest hardware, leaving older iPhone models behind.
